Aiken’s very own city-wide music festival, Aiken City Limits, is quickly approaching October 18-21. Here at Aiken Blend, we want to cover all of the fun activities that will take place throughout the weekend.
The second annual Atoms in the Alley event will be held on October 20 from 5-7pm. This event benefits the Savannah River Site Museum. Aiken’s downtown Alley will be full of educational exhibitors, artisan vendors, and music by Atomic Road, and will host the Stuffed Puppies food truck next to the stage.
“Rick McLeod, I believe, had the original idea,” says Andrew, “and after some brain storming with Brenda Baratto of the Aiken County Historical Museum, Walt Joseph of the SRS Museum, and others, we approached the mayor and city manager about a museum fundraiser.”
