“My name is Michelle Shumpert & I am a single mother of two wonderful children. One 20-year-old son and 30-year-old daughter. They are my proudest part of my life. They have both grown to be responsible adults & I hope that I had a little something to do with that. I started painting, self-taught, in my early teens as a means to disconnect and relax. I like to try to create anything out of natural items. I love the outdoors. I use a variety of mediums like canvas, wood, shells, etc. I would like to further explore oil painting. The beginning painting was an escape now it’s to relax and socialize with other Crafters in my area to meet new people.
