This is a new weekly series to showcase artisans involved with the Aiken County Crafters Group. Each week, founder Amy Moore will select one of their growing business members.
Meet Renee Stewart from My 3 Angels Boutique:
My love for crafting started young, as far back as I can remember I was always enjoyed making things!
My love of crafting has grown and taken on many outlets through out the years. I shared my love of crafting things with rubber stamps and making things with beads with my little sister and we had many memories of nights spent together crafting. When she passed suddenly in 2015, I lost all interest in crafting.
In an attempt to try to pull me out of my “funk”, my husband bought me an embroidery machine. I started slowly experimenting with it and making small things for friends and family. It started out with hooded bath towels for my nieces and nephew and kitchen towels for friends.
That small gesture from my husband turned my world right again. With the encouragement from my husband, kids and friends, My 3 Angels Boutique was born. The name came from two very important events in my life, the death of two very important people to me, my dad and sister and my bulldog, and my three wonderful children. My home based business isn’t big by any means, but I thoroughly enjoy making things for people that will put smiles on their loved ones’ faces.
